Commercial Property Classes

Which are the main Commercial Property Classes and categories in Malta?

Commercial properties are mainly distinguished by their intended purpose – that is how the commercial property classes are established by the Planning Authority in Malta.  For this reason, permits are issued in order to determine what kind of activities may be undergone in the licenced commercial property.

An office for example, would require a different permit than that required by a restaurant outlet.  There would also be specific requirements and restrictions imposed on the two.
